Very Small Particle Company
Peter Talbot

Dr Peter Talbot

Dr Peter Talbot is the MD and co-founder of the Very Small Particle Company, a nano-materials manufacturing company based in Brisbane. In 1999 they began undertaking research and development into metal-oxide particle production techniques. When these nano-scale metal oxides are prepared with near-atomic scale features, their physical, electrical, magnetic, optical and mechanical properties are enhanced. These oxides are used in a range of applications, including fuel cells, batteries, electronics, catalysts, cosmetics and pigments.

Peter has extensive experience in industry-based R&D. He has an international reputation in material science particularly in the field of High Temperature Superconductors. He also holds numerous patents in the field of solid-state chemistry, automated chemical manufacture and nano-materials.

Dr Leon Burgess-Dean

Claypave is an Australian company privately owned and
operated by a small group of "hands on" people. We
specialise in the manufacture of clay pavers, and are the
market leaders in paver quality, service and innovation.

By continually pushing the boundaries of clay paving, Claypave manages to bring innovative product to the market that challenges the accepted norm of what clay paving can do, thereby putting pressure on the concrete masonry and stone paver markets.
